We know stepping onto the mat for the first time can feel intimidating. The workshop is designed for women of all fitness levels and backgrounds. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or haven't worked out in years, you belong here. We focus on practical technique, situational awareness, and empowerment—not brute strength.
Absolutely. This workshop is scaled for all body types and fitness levels. We prioritize leverage, technique, and situational awareness over brute strength. You can participate at a pace that feels entirely safe and manageable for you.
Comfortable clothing that lets you move freely—leggings, sweatpants, and breathable top. The space is carpeted, with mats brought out for certain drills.
Shoes come off at the door. Most people train in socks, with the option to go barefoot if that feels better for you. If you bring designated martial‑arts footwear, please check in with the instructor before using it so we can keep the training area clean and consistent.
The Early Bird rate of $60 is strictly available until July 27th. After that, standard registration is $75. However, our 'Bring a Friend' rate of $100 for two people remains available until we reach full capacity.
Not at all. The curriculum is built from the ground up for absolute beginners. We will guide you step-by-step through every technique in a supportive, ego-free environment.
Expect to sweat. You’ll be active and most people warm up quickly. We highly recommend bringing your preferred hydration beverage and a small towel if you’d like. We’ll have bottled water available.
